Terms
The rules for using Knock, in plain words.
Updated October 21, 2026
Using Knock
A free, invite-only beta.
- Invite-only
- Knock is free while it's in beta, and invite-only. Your invite is for you: don't share your sign-in.
- Your resume
- Upload only your own resume, and keep your profile true. Everything Knock writes for you is built from it.
- Fair use
- Don't try to break, overload or scrape Knock, or get around the daily limits on AI features.
- Access
- The people who run Knock can change or end anyone's access, and change or shut down Knock, at any time.
Jobs and materials
Help with your search, not a promise.
- Postings
- Jobs come from companies' own public job boards and can change or close at any time, even right after you see them. Always check the posting on the company's site.
- Fit
- Tiers and scores are estimates from what a posting says it requires. A company can decide differently, in either direction.
- Written by AI
- Requirements are read, and tailored resumes, cover letters and notes are written, by Anthropic's Claude. They're checked against your profile but can still be wrong: read everything before you send it.
- You apply
- Knock never applies, writes to employers or contacts anyone for you. What you send, and to whom, is your choice and your responsibility.
The fine print
What Knock can and can't promise.
- No guarantee
- Knock comes as it is, with no promise that it's accurate, always up, or free of mistakes, and no promise of interviews or offers.
- Liability
- As far as the law allows, the people who run Knock aren't responsible for anything lost by using it.
- Not affiliated
- Knock isn't affiliated with or endorsed by the companies whose postings it shows, or by Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, LinkedIn or Indeed. Their names are theirs.
- Changes
- These terms can change. Using Knock after a change means you accept it; the date at the top says when they last changed.
